Join us for an evening of interactive storytelling and performance art centered around the birthing experience.
The Hall Theater’s debut performance of WOMB offers a compelling and collective journey into motherhood...
Four players will present stories about the birthing process. Stories are compiled and synthesized from a submission process which gathered content from a wide array of women from different cultures and backgrounds.
We begin the evening with embodiment exercise guided by the Master of Ceremonies. The purpose of this opening ritual is to foster awareness + active listening between all participants… audience, players, crew, and curator. WOMB concludes with a Town Hall style discussion, giving audience members an opportunity to take the stage and create space for communal catharsis.
